Vintage Cars: Repair Help, factory manuals, back in shape

Question
Hello, I have been looking for some information on my car and it looks like you are the man to see. I have a 1987 Mercedes 500 SE. I bought this car about a year ago in Italy and have not had any problems. The previous owner did pretty much no work on it and that seems to be coming back to haunt me now. I recently have been stationed in Germany and am looking to getting her back in shape. Unforntunately, I do not know much about cars. Looking online, I seem to see the 560 SEC as the U.S.-spec'ed version. Do you know where I can get a good set of manuals?

Answer
The best manuals are the original or reprint factory manuals I sugest starting here to find them. The Classic center is very helpful and will get you what you need.

They are separated by engine and body manuals
