ANSWER: Well then that is a rare bird, mainly because it is a manual tranny. Is that original? Right or Left hand drive. Was not available in the states and made from 86-89

QUESTION: It is a left-hand drive with A/C, PW, ABS, leather, back seats and has 105k well-maintained miles. Yes, it's original; was originally brought back by an Air Force captain. Where might I inquire or look to get the production figures with the manual trannie? Thanks again.
Answeryour best bet for this data, since I beleive most were euro destined would be from mercedes classic center. I have found them very helpful. If you provide the VIN they will give you the build sheet details and if you ask specifically about the production numbers they will give you that as well. It may help to have the transmission number, its probably in the owners manual somewhere.
I may be mistaken but a majority in europe and australia were all manual. I do know there were only 300 ,manual 300E's made in 1988
