Smart USA sells the Mercedes-Benz-engineered Smart cars, which are available in five different models. As of October 2010, lease offers were available for three models: the 2010 pure chrome yellow special edition, the 2010 passion coupe and the 2010 passion cabriolet. Lease offers are for 36 months and require a down payment, which varies depending on the model you choose.
Submit a credit application on the Smart USA website. You get the results by email within four hours.
Print out your confirmation page that shows the credit decision. You must be approved by Smart Car USA financing or you cannot lease a Smart car.
Identify your closest Smart car dealer by using the Dealer Locator on the Smart USA website.
Bring your credit decision confirmation page, along with two recent paycheck stubs, to your local Smart car dealer to fill out your lease paperwork.
