GMAC is a financial company that is almost 100 years old. It provides regular banking services and loans for vehicles and homes. If you have a current GMAC auto loan, you can create a free online account. It gives you access to your loan balance and lets you make and schedule payments, view payment history and change your personal information. You can access your GMAC account from any computer that has Internet access.
Go to the GMAC Automotive Financing login page (see Resources). This is where you can create an account and log in to your current auto account.
Click on the "Register Now" link at the bottom of the Web page. Type in your name, address, email address, password and password hints.
Read the Terms and Conditions. Check the box next to "I have read and accept the Terms and Conditions for GMACFS Account Center." Hit "Continue."
Log in to your email account that you put down on the GMAC application. Open the email from GMAC and click on the link inside to activate your account. It takes you back to the GMAC login page.
Enter your email address and password into the GMAC login section and hit "Log In."
Select "Add Account" and type in your auto loan information, which includes your loan account number. Hit "Submit" to add the loan to your account. The fields populate with your loan information, which includes your monthly payment, payoff and interest rate.
