How to Make a Nissan Car Payment Online

When your monthly Nissan car payment is due, you don't have to track down a stamp to mail your payment. Instead, you can use Nissan's online portal to submit a payment each month, or sign up for automatic monthly payments.

One-Time Payments

From the Nissan Finance Account Manager page, log into your account. Click on the "Payment" link and choose the "One-Time Payment" option. The site directs you to BillMatrix, which runs the online payment portal. BillMatrix accepts credit cards -- including Visa, MasterCard and Discover -- as well as debit cards, ATM cards and electronic checks.

To make a one-time payment using BillMatrix, you'll need to provide your:

  • Nissan Finance account number
  • Zip code
  • Phone number
  • Payment type
  • Card number, expiration date and card verification code for credit and debit cards
  • Bank routing and account numbers for electronic checks

Tip

  • For one-time payments, BillMatrix charges a convenience fee of $12.95 for credit card payments and $5 for debit cards and electronic checks.

Warning

  • Users in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oklahoma and Texas cannot use a credit card to pay online.

Register for Online Account

If you don't have an account, you can register for one by providing your:

  • Nissan Finance account number
  • Last four digits of your Social Security number
  • Email address

You'll create a user ID and password to use to log into your account.

Automatic Monthly Payments

If you're having trouble making payments on time or don't want the hassle of manually setting up your payment each month, Nissan allows you to set up automatic payments. After logging into your online account, choose the "Payment" option, then click "Reoccurring Payment." If you haven't already done so, the website will prompt you to link your bank account by providing the bank's routing number and your bank account number.

Tip

  • There is no fee for using automatic monthly payments.

You can choose what day of the month you want the payment to come out and the amount of the payment.
