How to Check a Ticket of the Nevada Highway Patrol

If you get a speeding ticket from the state of Nevada highway patrol, you're going to want to stay on top of the status of that ticket until you pay it. In order to check the status of a ticket, you can do so by phone.

  • Turn over your Nevada highway patrol ticket and find out the area where your ticket was received. This will be in one of four places: Carson City, Reno, Las Vegas or Elko.

  • Call 775-687-5300 if your ticket was received near Carson City. The representative on the phone will take your name and citation number and will tell you the status of your ticket.

  • Call 775-688-2500 if your ticket was received near Reno. The representative on the phone will take your name and citation number and will tell you the status of your ticket.

  • Call 702-486-4100 if your ticket was received near Las Vegas. The representative on the phone will take your name and citation number and will tell you the status of your ticket.

  • Call 775-753-1111 if your ticket was received near Elko. The representative on the phone will take your name and citation number and will tell you the status of your ticket.
