Full Coverage vs. Full Tort Car Inurance

It is import for drivers to understand the difference between having full coverage on your vehicle, versus have full tort coverage on your vehicle.
Full coverage means that you have liability insurance for personal injury and property damage (required), as well as collision and comprehensive coverage (coverage for damage to your personal vehicle), underinsured motorist coverage and uninsured motorist coverage on your vehicle.

Full tort coverage means that you have no limitation on the right to file a lawsuit for pain and suffering.

You can have both full coverage and full tort coverage on your policy. You can have neither, or you can have one or the other. In order to make sure you and your family are fully protected you should chose full coverage as well as the full tort option.

Many of our clients realize that they do not have the coverage they thought they had when it is too late and a car accident occurs. Be sure to review your policy with your insurance agent and ask questions.
