How to Find the Value of a Used Van

All cars, used and new, have a Kelley Blue Book value. If you are looking to buy or sell a used van, finding out what the van is worth is best done through the Kelley Blue Book. Not only will it take the exact model and year into account, it also takes the deprecation of the van in question into account as well. This will give you a good idea of what a used van is worth on the present market.

  • Go to Kelley Blue Book online at kbb.com.

  • Click on "Van/Minivan" in the "Search by" section. Input your zip code and press "Go."

  • Select the make, model and year the van was made.

  • Select the type of value you want to appraise the van for, either trade-in value, private party value or suggested retail value.

  • Select the sort of trim the van has, if any.

  • Input the mileage of the van and any extra equipment it may have come with. Press "Continue."

  • Select the condition the van is in presently. Press "Continue." A new webpage will open with the Kelly Blue Book value of the used van.
