Bulldog Security's Remote Start is a system that allows you to start your car remotely. This allows your vehicle to warm up or cool down before you enter it. After the remote start has been programmed, using the remote start is simple. To start your vehicle simply press key #1 on the remote control. To turn your vehicle off, simply press key #2. The system has a user-friendly interface for changing, resetting and confirming the run time of the starter.
Turn off the vehicle.
Select and hold key #2.
Release the key after approximately 10 seconds. The parking lights will begin to blink. The lights will blink for each five minutes of run time. After key #2 is released the run time setup is complete.
Turn the vehicle off.
Press key #2. Do not hold the key but simply press and release.
Review the number of parking lights flashes. The lights will flash one time for each five minutes. For example, three flashes equals 15 minutes.
Turn the vehicle off.
Push and hold the brake. While holding, turn the key in the ignition to "run" five times quickly within four seconds.The parking lights will begin to flash three times.
Unplug the unit for approximately 30 seconds.
Reconnect the unit. The Bulldog remote will now be reset to factory settings.
