Cars and trucks built in 1995 did not have the advanced safety features that we have in automobiles today. Your 1995 F-150 had what is known as an inertia fuel shut off switch, which is designed to turn off the fuel pump in the event of a collision. The switch can also be tripped by rough roads, but you can easily reset if you know its location.
The inertia fuel shut off switch is located under the passenger side of the dash, just above the kick panel. To reset it, press on the red button until you feel it click.
