How to Program an S10 Keyless Entry

Chevrolet began putting a keyless entry system in the S10 pickup in 1995. The system allows the driver to operate vehicle door locks and to open the trunk from a distance, using a remote control that doubles as a keychain. The remote also includes a panic button that triggers a vehicle alarm when pushed. When a remote control is lost or broken, a new one can be purchased at a dealership or online retailer, and the vehicle owner can program it without a mechanic.
