IC Dynamics manufactures a number of different car alarms, remote car starters and keyless entry systems. All of the devices can be professionally installed or installed by technically inclined vehicle owners. The specific information required to complete the installation process varies depending on the vehicle. The IC Dynamics website provides information on how to wire a large number of different vehicle makes and models. All that is required to find the installation instructions for any vehicle is the vehicle's make, model and year.
Navigate to the main IC dynamics website at icdynamics.com. Click on the "Wire guide search" link located on the left-hand side of the main page.
Select the make of the vehicle from the "Choose Your make" drop-down menu. After selecting the make, choose the model and year from the corresponding drop-down menus displayed on the screen. A range of years may be displayed for some vehicles for which the installation instructions are the same for several model years.
Print the wiring information displayed on the screen. Then click on the "Troubleshooting" link on the left-hand side of the website. Examine the articles displayed on the screen to ensure that none of the troubleshooting tips are applicable to the IC Dynamics product that will be installed.
Click on the link labeled "Install tips" for specific information on how to install specific IC Dynamics products. Take care to read the articles in their entirety as not all of the tips apply to every vehicle.
