Kobalt manufactures truck boxes that can be installed into the bed of most trucks. Truck boxes allow for better organization of tools. Additionally, most models come with a lockable top, which adds security to the storage area. With the new Grip Rite system, there is only a minimal amount of drilling that needs to be done. There is no drilling that needs to be done into the body of your vehicle.
Slide the hex bolt, washer and nut into one of the side rails on the side of your truck bed.
Slide the Grip Rite and cleat onto the bolt on the other side of the rail.
Use a wrench to hold the bolt on the inside of the rail and tighten the cleat with your hand.
Repeat steps 1through 3 for the rail on the other side of your truck bed.
Place your box into the bed of your truck.
Measure the locations of the two holes on each of the Grip Rites in relation to the box.
Drill holes through the box into your marked locations.
Secure your box to the Grip Rites using the provided bolts.
