After finding the appropriate tow hitch, you can save the money you would have spent on movers and use it to furnish your new place.
Locate the right receiver hitch for your Miata. Don't listen to someone who tells you there aren't any receiver hitches for Mazda Miatas. Do some research online or go to your local car accessory store to find out.
Install the rear-mounted receiver hitch on your Miata. Follow the instructions that come with the receiver hitch. Most hitches require that you bolt the hitch to the inside of your vehicle's frame extension rails. If necessary, hold the hitch flush to the frame extension rails and mark appropriate areas on the rails (using the hitch as a guide) to drill holes for fasteners.
Attach the hitch securely using a torque wrench.
Secure your cargo to the receiver hitch using a locking hitch pin.
