The Jeep 2.5 liter engine considered underpowered. It is more than adequate for low speed operation,but has a difficult time getting up to speed from a stop as it has poor acceleration. This is mainly due to lack of horsepower. Fortunalty there are many ways to improve the Jeep's power. One of the easiest ways to do this is changing the fuel mapping with an add-on computer modification.
Release and open the hood and support it with the prop rod. Locate the electronic control module located on the passenger side firewall.
Remove the connected harness, and plug the harness into the Jetchip
Plug the Jetchip and harness combination back into the electronic control module. Close the hood and take the vehicle for a test drive. It should now have more power.
