Marksman, a well-known brand of car alarm systems, offers not only alarms, but also a number of other security and convenience capabilities. You can program your Marksman keyless or handheld remote in just seconds, which will allow you to sync with your ignition starter, your trunk release or your door locks. Once programmed, these features can be controlled from as far away as a few hundred feet.
Enter your car with your remote and your key and turn your ignition to the "On" position.
Press the "Valet" button on the Marksman alarm and wait for the system to emit a beeping sound.
Press and hold the "Valet" button on your remote again. While holding down the "Valet" button, press the button on the remote for the action you would like to program.
Wait for the alarm to beep again, and then release the second button.
After the LED light on the alarm system stops flashing, release the "Valet" button and the programming will be completed.
