You can always go to the Chevy dealership and purchase new keyless entry remotes for your 2002 Tahoe. Or you can save money and time and purchase aftermarket remotes and program them yourself from your driver's side seat.
Sit in the driver's seat and close the door. Be sure all the doors are closed.
Put the key in the ignition.
Push and hold the "Unlock" button on the driver's side door. You will hold it until step 5.
Turn the key to the "On" position and then back to the "Off" position. Repeat and leave the key in the ignition.
Let go of the "Unlock" button. At this point, the door locks will cycle automatically.
Press and hold the "Unlock" and "Lock" buttons on the remote you are programming. Hold them until the door locks cycle again.
Repeat step 6 for each remote you need to program.
Turn the key to the "On" position again.
