Over time, the headlights on your Honda Accord may become cloudy or hazy. This haziness is normally caused by UV light from the sun. It can create a whitish film on the headlight, or it can turn the lens yellow. Fortunately, this problem can be fixed most of the time. Since the Accord's headlights are a sealed unit on most model years, all you need to do is polish the lens of the headlight to restore it so that you can get the maximum visibility possible from your Accord's headlight.
Apply a liberal amount of lens polish to the surface of the headlight.
Work the lens polish into the headlight with the orbital buffer. Move the buffer back and forth over the lens in a linear motion. Since the buffer already moves in a circular motion, you don't need to move the buffer in a circular motion. Continue buffing until the lens polish turns clear and there is no more haziness or fogginess on the headlight.
Wipe the headlight down with a clean, lint-free towel.
