The 2003 Honda's audio system becomes disabled whenever power to the system is cut. Resetting the system requires inputting a 5-digit audio code. For the convenience of Honda owners, the manufacturer placed the reset code on a strip of paper taped beneath the change tray. Honda realized that the tray or code may be lost and also provides an online option for owners who need to reset an audio code.
Pull the change tray from the dash; it is located just left of the steering wheel. Flip it over to read the code taped underneath.
Press the numbers on the radio as they appear in the code. Tune your radio after you have entered the last number.
Visit Honda's radio and navigation code retrieval website and enter your VIN, phone number, zip code and radio serial number to get your code, if you do not have your change tray or if the code has been removed. Tune your radio after you have entered the code.
