How to Change the Cabin Filter on an Infiniti Q45

The Q45 was sold in the U.S. until 2006, although it is still sold in some parts of the world. It is built by Nissan and sold through its luxury brand, Infiniti. The last Q45 redesign occured in 2002. All trim packages between 2002 and 2006 are equipped with cabin air filters to improve the air quality inside the car. Infiniti recommends you replace the filter every 30,000 miles.

Things You'll Need

  • Flat-head screwdriver (optional)
  • Open the glove box door and remove the three clips on the side of the assembly.

  • Lift the assembly up, and then pull it toward you. Let the glove box stay connected to the hinges.

  • Remove the black filter access cover. Once the black cover is removed, remove the white cover to access the cabin filter. Remove the white cover by pushing it to the right, and then pulling it off.

  • Remove the old filter and replace it with a new one. Replace box filter covers, and then reattach your glove box assembly. Snap the clips to lock the glove box assembly.
