How to Replace the Wiper Blades on a Dodge Ram

When rain, sleet or snow starts falling from the sky, you've got to make sure your wiper blades are working so that you can safely see the road. Even if you're in a large truck like the Dodge Ram, impaired vision can lead to an unforeseen accident. Here's how to replace the wiper blades on your Dodge Ram in just a few short minutes.

Things You'll Need

  • Dodge Ram
  • Dodge Ram wiper blade replacement kit
  • Raise the wiper arms away from the windshield until they lock into the "service position." You will feel them automatically lock.

  • Rotate the wiper arm away from the windshield. You'll feel the arm move easily into the correct position.

  • Identify the release tab on the bottom of the wiper arm.

  • Push the release tab on the wiper arm while simultaneously pulling the wiper blade out of the wiper arm. Once it is out of the wiper arm, you may discard the old blade.

  • Align the replacement wiper blade with the wiper arm track and slide it in until you the wiper blade lock into place.

  • Repeat these steps on the other wiper arm to complete replacement of your wiper blades on a Dodge Ram.

  • Return the wiper arms to their operational position against the windshield glass.
