Infinity fuel doors are wired into the power lock system, locking the fuel door when the car doors are locked. To fill the gas tank, you need to unlock the fuel door with the power lock controls.
Unlock the fuel tank door by pressing the "Unlock" button on the driver door or the unlock button on the Intelligent Key, if equipped.
Push the left side of the fuel door to open it and access the filler cap. Turn the filler cap counter-clockwise to remove it.
Replace the filler cap after filling the fuel tank. Turn the cap clockwise until it clicks. Push the fuel door closed.
Press the "Lock" button on the driver door or on the Intelligent Key to secure the fuel door.
