How to Replace a Headlamp in a 2007 Hyundai Elantra

Headlamps on a vehicle are important safety components to drivers. Headlamp bulbs burn out, just like regular light bulbs. When headlamps on a 2007 Hyundai Elantra burn out or malfunction, they need to be replaced. Headlight bulb replacement can be done just about anywhere as long as you have replacement bulbs.

  • Release and open the hood.

  • Locate the headlight and rotate the bulb cover counterclockwise to remove it.

  • Rotate the headlight bulb assembly counterclockwise and remove it. Take out the old bulb and insert a new bulb.

  • Insert the headlight bulb assembly and turn it clockwise to secure it in place.

  • Place the headlight bulb cover to its original location and rotate it clockwise to secure it in place.

  • Close the hood and test the new headlamp.
