Chrysler recommends changing your 5 quarts of oil every 6,000 miles instead of the usual 3,000 miles. They also recommend a full synthetic, which is what allows you to go so long between oil changes. Synthetic is also vital for V-6 owners, as the 2.7-liter is notorious for developing engine sludge problems. Most drivers will use the standard 5W-30 synthetic, but 0W-30 is an option for drivers who live in colder climates and need a thinner oil for the winter.
