You prefer to change your own oil but not sure how to reset the oil change reminder on your new chrysler or dodge? I will show you how easy it is to do.
If the oil change reminder come on in the odometer area of your instrument panel then you will need to reset it after 2500 miles have accumulated and this must also be done right after each oil change even if the reminder hasn't came on yet. This will reset it back to the 2500 mile interval.
Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
Within 10 seconds depress the accelerator pedal four times.
Turn the key off, then back on and restart. The oil change reminder should be off now.
