Since 1976, the Honda Accord has been one of the most popular vehicles on American roads. It remains stylish, roomy and reliable. To keep your Honda accord riding smoothly, you should rotate the tires every 6,000 miles. The best way to do so is on a hydraulic lift. Here's how to do it with four jacks if you don't have a lift.
Loosen all the lug nuts on each of the tires with a lug nut wrench.
Place a piece of wood under the back tires to keep the car from rolling while you jack up the front of the car.
Put a jack under both sides in the front of the car and jack it up enough to remove the tires. Lift the rear up with two more jack stands.
Remove each lug nut and move the passenger side rear tire to the front, and passenger side front tire to driver side rear. Switch driver side rear tire to the front and driver side front to passenger side rear. Repeat this "X" pattern each time you rotate the tires.
Tighten the lug nuts by hand just enough so the tires remain in place.
Lower the rear end first and replace the wood behind the tires. Lower the front end and then go around and tighten each lug nut to its tightest fit with the lug nut wrench.
