Here's why: aside from its main function of relieving boost pressure, it comes in a new aluminum die-cast body for improved durability, uses heat fins as a heat sink to reduce the internal temperatureof the blow-off valve and can also have its blow-off sound changed by swapping the Triple Fin insert for the Round Fin (sold separately). The Super SQV also comes with an optional Recirculation insert to be used in place of the Triple Fin, to return discharged air back into the intake tract; this is said to work especially well on cars with an air flow meter because it reduces stumbling caused by metered air being discharged, resulting in improved performance.
