| Although RIZE lists the 8-inch kit as able to clear 37-inch rubber, our 35-inch Cooper tires and 20-inch RBP wheels looked right at home under the lift. With the 20-inch and 50-inch Bulldog Bone Series LED bars lit, our F-150 looked ready to tackle the trails.
Can a truck be simple and still turn heads? It's the ideal situation, and we're here to help break down the formula for a daily driver which can easily be used for work and for play. Our goal was to dress up a newer Ford F-150 with off-the-shelf parts that required as few tools as possible and could be handled by any truck owner at home with a decent amount of mechanical knowledge. In a nutshell, we wanted our truck to be worthy of getting a big thumbs up at the local watering hole or pulling into your favorite trailhead.
To bring it all together, we chose a suspension lift kit from RIZE Industries. RIZE lists the kit as an 8-inch front system with a 6-inch rear. To be safe, we checked off the RIZE order form for the 1½-inch add-a-leaves just in case. Everything up front was kept as the base kit, but should you want better options and you have deeper pockets, RIZE has a fully prepped coilover system that would make the truck a much better performing vehicle on- and off-road. The last option was for the matching traction bar system. A suspension alone would not do much, so we also chose to add some accessories from RBP. It may not sound like a big deal, but RBP's grille and 5-inch black exhaust tip were the little details that made the whole picture come to life. RBP also supplied the 20-inch 96R wheels and we wrapped those with Cooper's newest off-road tire, the 35-inch Discoverer STT.
| 17. Both lower control arms were slipped into the new subframe with the original bolts and eccentric cams. This means alignment will be a snap.

Cooper recently launched its new Discoverer STT tires with Armor-Tek3 carcass construction, scalloped shoulder lugs, and wide traction blocks for superior off-road grip. This set of Discoverer STTs was sized 35x12.50R20LT (MSRP $388.24 each).
