The Illuminated Gauge Gear simply replaces the factory dash gauge cover. Since you don't physically disassemble the gauge face, the installation is very straightforward. Simple as it may be to install, the look is nothing short of dramatic. The gauge gear dash cover replaces the slightly curved factory dash gauge cover with a racy "gauge cluster" look. Each gauge is isolated with a 3-D chrome ring and beveled-glass look. That look alone is worth the investment, but this product really jumps at night. The unit uses fiber-optic lighting on the backside of each gauge ring. The technology allows the lighting to balance around each individual gauge.
The totally custom feature is the toggle switch, which allows enthusiasts to flip through seven different colors, finding the right color to match the night's mood.
