Mopar Trailer Towing Mirrors - 6.7L Upgrades That Wont Void Your Warranty
Unless you're buying a brand-new, special-order truck from the factory (and who has time for that?), chances are pretty good that the truck you buy will either have some bells and whistles you don't need, or won't have some options you really want. Such was the case with our '07 1/2 Dodge Mega Cab SLT. Bought brand-new (off the dealer lot), it had just about every option we craved, like the Sat/Nav package, trailer towing harness and hitch, fog lamps, and even a power sliding rear window. But with all the amenities piled onto our 6.7L Cummins-powered tow beast, we were amazed it didn’t come with trailer towing mirrors.

This brought us to Chrysler's aftermarket department, Mopar Performance. In addition to power, performance, and handling components for most Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles in the lineup, it also offers many factory-optioned items for Chrysler vehicles.
This time around, we were happy to open up a wider field of vision behind our Mega Cab by adding some power and heated trailer towing mirrors (PN 82207298) to our Ram. The installation was easy and the results are spectacular. We can now back our boat or car hauler wherever we need to without losing sight of it like we did with the puny, sport mirrors that came on the truck.
