Swing Case Toolbox Install

If you own a truck with a bed-mounted toolbox and have to make a run to the home improvement store to purchase some long lengths of lumber, that toolbox at the front of the bed is always in the way! The company UnderCover came up with this new design in toolbox storage. It mounts nicely to the sides of the bed and is still low enough to have a bedcover—yet it can store a lot of the everyday tools you might use.

The truck we chose to do the install on is Dustin Bowers’ ’06 Ford F-250. Follow along, ’cause these side-mount toolboxes are a snap to install, hold a lot of your stuff, and save space. If your vehicle is equipped with plastic bedliner or a carpet kit, the instructions will show you the area to cut or trim out to allow the mounting brackets to be installed properly.
