DPF Delete Kits for your Power Stroke - September 2011 Power Products

6.7L Power Stroke DPF Delete kits
Advanced Flow Engineering has released its DPF delete kits via a new exhaust for ’11 Ford Super Dutys. The 4-inch, T409 stainless steel system rids the 6.7L Power Stroke of the diesel particulate filter and weighs 85 pounds less than the factory system. According to AFE, its exhaust outflows the factory piece by 300 cfm. DPF delete kits come complete with all tubing, bayonet hangers, band clamps, muffler, and 6-inch, slash-cut exhaust tip. The system requires the use of a DPF-delete function via aftermarket tuning.

Available from Industrial Injection are its 12 and 14mm main bearing girdle kits for the common-rail 5.9L Cummins. Its Gorilla Girdles are designed using the latest CAD software on the market and are machined using a CNC milling machine and lathe. According to Industrial Injection, engines utilizing main bearing girdles make more power due to less friction in the main bearing bore and overall alignment of the piston and crankshaft bores. By evenly distributing the load across the main bearing caps, main cap walk is virtually eliminated.
