Warm-Up Valve Delete
Jobe Performance is now offering a direct bolt-on replacement for '99 1/2 to '03 Ford 7.3L turbo factory exhaust backpressure valves (EBV). The factory EBV was designed to function like an exhaust brake. It is only designed to operate in cold weather using the exhaust brake to warm up the motor on cold days. Turning up the power and boost will create spinning air that navigates very poorly around the valve. This spinning air will cause the valve to get sideways, actually exhaust-braking the motor under load.
