No More Restriction
New from Jobe Performance is its exhaust backpressure valve (EBV) delete for '991/2 to '03 7.3L Power Strokes. In performance applications, the butterfly valve in the factory system is thought to hamper exhaust flow, and a failing EBV can cause turbo surge. Jobe Performance's unit eliminates turbulence in the downpipe, lowers EGT and backpressure, and extends turbo life. In addition, the EBV delete is compatible with the stock turbo, as well as the Garrett GTP38R.
