1. Still Making Wheels
Boyd Coddington's multipiece forged wheels are back and being produced by the folks at Boyd Coddington Garage in La Habra, California. Many new designs, including ones Boyd approved himself before his untimely passing, are available in numerous sizes, fitments, and offsets. The first of these are the V-Twin and the Switchblade. Both wheels are from the Gotcha series and are available in 17- to 22-inch sizes and in five- and six-lug applications with numerous finishes.

Cruiser Stainless Accessories offers the White Night Rear Lighting System to improve safety when backing up a vehicle in the dark. The system utilizes two 55-watt halogen lamps, enclosed in a high-impact black plastic case, to automatically throw an 80-foot spread of white light behind the vehicle when in Reverse. Edelbrock's new upper plenums are designed to adapt a front-mount, round throttle body to a 4150-style square-bore intake mounting pad. Five applications are being offered in various heights and styles. The throttle-body flange accommodates round GM, Ford, and universal throttle bodies from 75mm to 90mm. Engineered in modeling software and put through Computation Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis, the upper plenums are tuned to effectively distribute airflow into the intake plenum.

5. One Wire, Two Jobs
MetaWire features a patent-pending removable outer jacket so you can use one wire and convert it from positive to ground as needed. Just peel away the outer jacket to reveal the clear ground wire. This reduces stocking requirements and scrap rates for bulk wire. No more short pieces of positive wire going to waste. Performance Distributors' new six-cylinder Ford Truck Firepower Ignition Kits will put some zap in into your 3.0L, 3.8L, 3.9L, 4.0L, or 4.2L Ford V-6 motor. By producing a fatter spark, the Screamin' Demon coil allows you to open up your plug gaps to 0.065 inch. The coil is epoxy-filled and has brass terminals for maximum conductivity. Also included is a set of LiveWires plug wires, which easily deliver high-voltage sparks to the plugs. The wires can withstand up to 1,400 degrees F and are available in red, blue, black, yellow, and purple.
