Auto Insurance Claims: warrenty on air condition afeter accident, body shop negligence

hi there ,do to  a accident body shop worked on air condition ,4 months the air condtion dont work ,the car its  on factory  warranty , they said the air condtion its broke becouse of the accident so ite not coverd.the body shop said call the insurance company. my question is how long its the macchanil work its warranty from the body shop?thank you joe

  If I understand your question correctly, then you need to have the body shop provide a statement that the air conditioner is malfunctioning and that it is not due to the accident.  If the air conditioner is not working due to the accident, then the body shop you hired to repair the collision damage should repair the air conditioner or send your vehicle to a facility that can repair the air conditioner.  Unless the shop gives a written warranty, there is no warranty, but there is always negligence and tort law, meaning even if they don't have a warranty, they still have a duty to perform repairs properly and you can always sue them in small claims court.

  A vehicle warranty will not cover damages from accidents.  What I suggest doing is getting your insurance adjuster involved in the situation and see if they can assist you with getting the shop to properly repair your vehicle.
