Auto Insurance Claims: Expenses while vehicle is in the shop, accident expenses

Question
Hello,
My question is pretty simple...I hope.
My car was hit while I was out of town. While we waited for the car to be partially fixed (just enough to be legal to drive) we encored allot of expenses.
I want to know what portion of the expenses are covered and do I need all of the receipts? We had to extend our trip by over 5 days. The costs were allot for us and I don't have all of the receipts I was hoping there was some type of daily amount per person I could ask for.
Ok well thanks for the help.

Answer
Tyra,

Unfortunately, your question is not simple.  The concept of mitigation strongly affects your claims.  Only reasonable expenses can be claimed.  Without a detailed list of what you intend to claim, I cannot tell you if you meet the burden of proof for recovering damages.  I am happy to assist you directly if you wish, our consultation and review services are free.  You can find us on the web at www.pettydetailsllc.com.  Don't be afraid to pick up the phone or e-mail us directly.  Of course, you can continue using AllExperts to get your answers, but I have a feeling you probably need some one on one guidance.

With the right information from you, we can answer all your questions.
