Auto Insurance Claims: Unisured driver/ insured car/ not at fault, Unisured driver/ insured car/ not at fault

Question
I'm an uninsured driver not named on the cars policy. I will be found not at fault. Will her car insurance pay everything since she will be found at fault and both cars are insured...or will me being uninsured complicate things? Thanks Anne.

Answer
Hello Stephen,

The fact that you are not "insured" should not give any problem. If you are "excluded" (there is language that says that Stephen cannot drive this car) then you would have problems with the insurance company of the car you were driving, however, this should not any effect on the coverage granted by the insurance policy of the person who hit you.

I hope this helps,
