Auto Insurance Claims: diminished value?, diminished value claim, intersection 4

Hello! I was T-boned at an intersection 4 weeks ago. The other driver ran a stop sign.... My 2009 subaru wrx, which I bought in July, has been in the shop since.  $17,000 est repair....
Can I make a diminished type claim?
