Auto Insurance Claims: Curbed My Exs Vehicle While Learning How to Drive, curbed vehicle

Question
I'm a 23 year old student driver with a permit, and I hit a curb on the drivers side of my ex-girlfriend's vehicle that was connected to business property (was trying to turn into it). Her insurance company charged me for both Liability and Collision, amounting at $500 dollars for each, giving a grand-total of a $1,000 dollar deductible (according to the adjuster's claim report).

I agreed to sign a notarized document to pay this amount off, however I called her insurance company a few days later asking why I was being charged liability. Two different people from the corporate office told me that the liability charge was not on their records.

They contacted her about this, then they called me back saying she had barred me from speaking to them again about this claim.

So, since I am not allowed to speak to her insurance company, and the adjuster isn't answering his phone, how do I find out the TRUE deductible amount, and prove it? I damaged no one's property other than her vehicle, and collision is supposed to cover that... So what gives?  I sort of feel like I am getting lied to for more money, and with a notarized document laying over my head, the fear of getting sued is making this situation worse.

Thank you.

Answer
Well, if she does not want her insurer to deal with you, then she will have to try to get more money from you herself. Don't give her a dime until you understand what she wants the money for and then only if you agree. Otherwise, she can sue you and tell her story to a judge. I don't understand why you need to know her deductible
