Auto Insurance Claims: insurance for auto, sick sister, waiting period

Question
If I purchase a new auto and take the insurance that if I die the auto is paid off how long a waiting period is there I mean If I buy the car today and take the insurance and die in a few days will they pay car off?  I have a sick sister in law who needs a car but is afraid she might not be here to pay off.

Hi Peggy,

To the best of my knowledge, that type of insurance generally has no waiting period. However all policies are different. The only way to know for sure in to actually read the exclusions and limitations of the specific policy you are considering buying. Do not rely on the word of a sales person. You must actually see it in black & white for yourself to be sure.
