Auto Insurance Claims: Traffic accident questions, small claims court, traffic accident

Question
My son and I were involved in a traffic accident a couple of days ago, with the other driver at fault, witnessed by another person who came forward to verify on my behalf.
My question is this- I cancelled my insurance 2 days before,so I had no insurance-to switch to another company,
Can I do anything for my vehicle?

Answer
Angel,

If I understand you correctly, you have no insurance on your car. You should be able to sue the person who caused the accident for your damages regardless of whether you had insurance or not.

You may want to consult a local attorney for assistance or depending on the damages amount, you can sue them in small claims court.

Best of Luck.
