Auto Insurance Claims: Accident Haunting, proper actions, insurance liability

Question
Hello,

I was involved in an accident over two years ago in where a driver coming in the opposite direction of an intersection made a left hand turn in from of me resulting in a accident. Fault was never determined with each party insisting that the other had the right of way.

Since then, the driver’s insurer has hired a collection agency to attempt to collect for damages stating they have determined that it was my fault. My insurance agencies have since moved on and have basically given up trying to recover damages.

My question is, is there something I can do to stop the other insurance company/collection agency to cease with the collection attempts? I’ve stated numerous times that I accept no responsible for the cause of the accident and have a passenger to support my claim that we had the green light when we entered the intersection.

Thanks in Advance,
Jason

Answer
It sounds like things have reached this point likely because the proper actions were not taken on either your or your insurance company over the past two years.

Just based on what you have said, it sounds like there is a whole lot of detail that you are not sharing.

It's no longer an insurance liability question now so I'm not sure how I can help you.
