Auto Insurance Claims: bodily injury claim, broken sternum, typical coverage

I was involved in a head on accident. 100% other drivers fault. He was uninsured. I have 300,000 for uninsured. Will I have to pay back my health insurance when I settle. This will be a first party per my insurance. Injuries were a broken sternum and foot. Out of work for 12 weeks.

Are you sure you have $300,000 UM?  Typical coverage is $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.  That means you would only have $300,000 if three people were injured in your car, but only $100,000 for you.  Hopefully you had $300,000 per person and $500,000 per accident but I just questioned it because most companies do 250,000/500,000 vs. 300,000/$500,000.

Yes you will have to pay back your health insurance when you settle.
