Is it isurance fraud if a person gets in a accident and roports it to insurance that another person was driving ?

Hi Sue-

Yes that would be considered fraud.  If someone is not honest then their insurance company may have the right to deny the claim as well.  If you know someone who is not being honest you should report it to their insurance company.  Fraud makes all of our insurance costs higher.
