Auto Insurance Claims: INSURANCE, mechanic shop, shop insurance

Question
Mi daughter was rear ended by a vehicle which driver worked in a mechanic shop and he was test driving the car.
The driver had two children with him at the same of the accident.  My daughter has liability.  The car's owner doesnt want to be responsible since the car was driven without authorization and the car was getting repaired. The owner of the mechanic shop says that the owner of the car should pay for the damage.   Meanwhile, my daughther's car has not been fixed.  My insurance company says that as soon the driver's and the body shop insurance denies the payment they can fail as uninsurance vehicle claim and I will pay the $250 deductible.   The accident happened 3 weeks ago, and nobody is doing anything.  What should I do?  Go to a lawyer?   We leave in the state of Georgia.  Please advise.

Answer
Hi Maria,

The driver of the car and the shop he worked for is responsible for the damage to your daughters car. In this situation you need to let your insurance handle it and they will go after the at-fault party.

I hope this helps
