Auto Insurance Claims: What can I expect?, personal injury attorney, brand new car

Question
My two young daughters and I were involved in an auto accident where our brand new car was totaled. It was ruled as the other drivers fault. I had a broken hand and am now going to therapy for it. My daughter suffered a sprain and we were both treated in the emergency room. My question is, once I am done with therapy and the other person's auto insurance gets all of the medical bills that he requested, how much can I expect to be compensated for? I know I will get back the days that I missed from work along with co-pays and medications I had to purchase but what about pain and suffering and the inconvenience of everything. I don't want to settle knowing I could get more than what I am offered. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Answer
Hi Leah,

Due to the fact that your injury involved broken bones, I would highly recommend that you consult with a personal injury attorney. The claim may be worth far more than you think. Also since there were injured children involved, you will want an attorney to structure any settlement so it is to their advantage.

I hope this helps
