Answer
Without getting into hardcore diagnostics it sounds like You have a stuck or malfunctioning blend motor or blend door.  There is a flap that directs the flow of air over the heater core and evaporator core depending on input from the HVAC head.  I do believe Acura calls in the air mix motor.  (All techs may call it the blend motor).
First thing you want to do is remove battery cables from battery (just one will suffice) and leave it sit for half an hour so all the electronics can discharge.  This has corrected many logic lock ups on various vehicles.  Have not tried it on an Acura but I did have an Acura the other day that we could not turn on the radio after repairing something.  Rebooted and bam, got into radio.
Now start car and try AC functions until something doesn't work correctly.  When it malfunctions push the OFF button and AUTO button (AT the SAME time) and hold for about 1 min.

Once this happens the temp control unit will spit out a trouble code to help us diagnose the problem.  The codes are from the letter A to N I do believe.  Once you have this trouble code get back to me and I will explain what is wrong and how to proceed.
