Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Honda Civic 2000, honda civic 2000, honda civic

Question
My a/c quit working very suddenly.  Literally went into a KFC working, came out and nothing.  About 2 weeks later just trying my luck turned on the air and it actually worked.  It stayed working for another couple of weeks before quitting again.  It has not been working for several weeks now.  Nothing will work, heater, a/c, defrost;  it will not blow any air.  When I turn the fan knob on and off you can hear something 'click' on and off respectively.  The sound seems to be coming from the glove box area.  What part would you guess needs to be replaced??  Already checked fuses both under the hood and inside car.  Thanks so much!

Answer
Hi Misty

Check your power and ground at the blower.  More than likely you are missing the ground if so then replace blower resistor.  This is located behind the glove box just above the blower housing.  If you have both ground and positive then replace your blower motor.  Good luck and let me know.
