Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 2000 windstar a/c, service ports, freon

I just recharged my a/c took two cans. The compressor kicks on and runs but the air still is not cold front/ or rear. I only charged the front. Can not find the port for the rear. I'm trying not to spend a lot of money on this. In the spring we are going to buy a new car, but there is no way my wife is going to go all summer without a/c. Thanks

There aren't any service ports for the rear of the vehicles a/c system so you have to worry about finding those. Now for the warm air, you might not have added enough freon to the system and if it has rear a/c it most likely holds a larger amount of freon. I know your trying to keep the expenses to a minimum if you have a leak or a restriction in the system you would have to get it repaired or live without a/c.
